Customer Material Number:

This is your part number for NIBCO material. In order to use this option, we must have previously been given a file matching your part number and  NIBCO's 7-digit material number. If we have this file in our system, you can then enter your part number, exactly as you gave it to us, and  you will find the item you are looking for.

Customer Number:

A "NIBCO assigned" number which is unique to each NIBCO customer. This number defines which company your User ID belongs to. The number allows future logins to the site, to display your company's data. (Please see Login/Registration Help for particular use.)

Delivery Line Number:

The line number on a particular packing ticket. This line number does not necessarily correspond to a line number on the sales order or even to a line number on the customer's purchase order. It is independent of these line numbers. For example, a purchase order may have line number 15, the sales order would have line number 150 and the delivery may have line number 20. The delivery line number can be useful for receiving.

Delivery Number:

A document that is generated at a NIBCO warehouse that tells them what they have in stock for your order. The warehouse attaches this document to your order for you to use as a packing ticket. These numbers are 8 digits long, and they begin with the number 8 - example 80123456.

Delivery Quantity:

The quantity of a particular material that NIBCO has shipped to fulfill your purchase order. This quantity may not correspond exactly with the quantity ordered, because there may be a backorder, or someone may have canceled some items at your facility. Backorders will be reflected on the Order Status page under "Open Quantity."

Expected Ship Date:

This is the date that your material is scheduled to ship from our NIBCO warehouse.

Expected Quantity:

This is the quantity that is expected to be available on the "Expected Ship Date."

Figure Number/Size:

This is the common "NIBCO part number" that the industry is used to. It is the number that can be found in our catalog along with the particular size requested. The Figure Number/Size can be used in searching for product.

NOTE: The figure number/size does NOT have any spaces, slashes, quotes or any other special characters. When you use Figure Number/Size in the product search be sure to take out all of these special characters.
- For example, if you want to look up a 1" wrot pressure Tee, you would
enter 6111 into the Figure Number/Size field.
- As another example, if you want to look up a 1" solder full port bronze ball valve, you would enter S585701. Just run the letters and numbers together.
- You can also use the Universal Part Numbers for plastic. For example a Sch40 1" slip Tee would be a 401010. Just as the numbers above, do not include any dashes or spaces.

For a complete list of Figure Number/Size numbers please check your current price sheet.

Invoice Number:

This is the billing document that NIBCO issues when material is shipped from our facilities to fill our customers' purchase orders.

Material Number (also NIBCO Material Number):

Material number represents the 7-digit NIBCO product number of the item you purchased. For example: 9055450, which our customers do not normally see. This number is NOT the same as our catalog number, like 607 ½". The material number can be used in searching for a particular item. For a list of material numbers, check the Excel price files on www.nibco.com

NIBCO Sales Order:

The number that NIBCO uses internally to reference your purchase order.

Open Quantity:

The quantity of a particular material that NIBCO has not shipped for a particular purchase order. In Open Quantity Detail NIBCO will provide expected ship date information for most open items. If there is an item on backorder with us, and we did not give you an expected ship date, please contact Customer Service, through e-mail or via phone.

Order Quantity:

This is the quantity of items of a particular material that you have on order with NIBCO.
NIBCO does have automatic rounding on certain items, so this quantity may be more than what you originally ordered on your purchase order. For example, a 600RS " roll stop coupling has a minimum order quantity of 100 ea. If you ordered 5 each of this material, the quantity would automatically round to 100. So, for this example, the order quantity that shows up would be 100 each. Please consult your price sheet for current minimum ordering quantities.

Password:

A "customer assigned" string of characters tied to the User ID. This password disables your user ID from being used by someone else. Make sure to change your password often and keep it in a secure place. (Please see Login/Registration Help for the specific format.)

Reference Number

When you submit an inventory availability check or check your current price NIBCO gives you a reference number. We will keep these reference numbers online for you to use. For example, your contractor may want to add a few items that he previously checked on. You can pull up an old reference number and add to it to check the stock on all of those items. Or, you may want to order the material that was checked on a previous reference number. Rather than entering it in again, you can just call up the old one and rerun the price check. You can also use the reference number when calling in to customer service. They can use it to turn that number into a sales order.

Sales Order Line Number:

The NIBCO sales order line number. This may or may not correspond exactly with your purchase order. Generally, NIBCO counts its lines incrementally in units of 10. So, for example, lines 1,2, and 3 on a purchase order will translate to lines 10, 20 and 30 on a NIBCO sales order.

The actual date that your material left from our NIBCO warehouse

This is the location of the NIBCO warehouse that shipped your material.

Ship Quantity:

The quantity of a particular material that NIBCO has shipped to fulfill your purchase order. This quantity may show up on one delivery, or on many deliveries, but each delivery for this material will be listed along with its delivery quantity.

UPC Number:

This stands for Universal Product Code, and each material that NIBCO sells has its own UPC code.

User ID:

A "customer assigned" name or number which is used to log into NIBCOpartner.com. (Please see Login/Registration Help for the specific format.)
