Partner Frequently Asked Questions
We use 128 bit encryption on our secure site and is the same requirement that many of the on line banking and financial services require.
You should also see a padlock icon on the
status bar of the browser.
Under the "Security" link you have the freedom to create user ids for your account; which fit in the following guidelines:

- No special characters (example: ! @ * ' :).
- You can use a combination of letters and
numbers, or

- You can use all numbers.
- Your user id is NOT case sensitive. You can
save the ID in lower case and then type it
in upper case (or vice versa) , and it will
still work.

service representative will ask you for your user ID and your unique identifier.
(You enter your unique identifier when you set up a new user ID - your birthday minus month and year.) The representative will then reset your password.
Make sure to log back into NIBCOpartner right away, because when you use
the new password to log into NIBCOpartner you will be taken directly to
the Change Password page. Here you can enter a new password that only you
will know.

turn this functionality off, go to Tools>Internet Options>Content.
Next, go to Personal Information area and click the AutoComplete button.

To put it simply, Yes. The inventory levels, the prices, the sales dollars,
the invoices and all other information posted on NIBCOpartner is real time.
We do not batch information to the web, and none of the information is
manually posted onto the web site. All information is updated instantly
and automatically by directly interfacing with our back office software.
Therefore, the inventory availability that you see is valid for that moment
in time that you see it. The same is true for order status. If you place
a next day air order in the morning, you can check the shipping status
of that order later the same day. As soon as our distribution center ships
your product the carrier and tracking information is displayed onto the
web.

When you enter an order through NIBCOpartner.com, your order goes directly
into our system. There is no manual intervention by anyone within NIBCO
to get the order into our system. The order automatically becomes visible
to our Distribution Centers to pick, pack and ship. This means that we
could be picking your order the minute after you submit it. So when you
push the "Submit Your Order" button, be sure that you have ordered
the items that you want, because no one will verify the items and quantities
until you do when a freight carrier delivers it to your desired location.

Go to Order Status. Pull up your purchase orders. For more information on displaying
your purchase order see "View Orders and Quotes" help. When you bring up your purchase
orders you will be at the Sales Order Summary Page. From here click on a delivery number
to view items that are tied to that particular delivery. This will take you to the Delivery
Details page. This page will show you all of the items and their quantities on this delivery.
It will also show you the corresponding NIBCO sales order number and the shipping point and
ship date for the delivery. If there is not a ship date at the top of the page, then this
delivery has not shipped yet. To see when it is scheduled to ship, simply go back to Sales
Order Summary and click on the sales order number. You will see the Item Detail page where
you can click on individual items to see when they are scheduled to ship.

You can also view all OPEN ORDERS and QUOTES for your company or individual location.
We will show you this list and display the specific items, open quantities and expected
ship dates. Simply select the "View Orders & Quotes" transaction from the drop down
menu in the Select Transaction window. This will open the View Orders & Quote selection menus,
enter the desired search criteria, and click [go]. This will take you to the Open Orders and
Quotes Summary Page, which will show you all of the orders and quotes that NIBCO shows open
for your entire hierarchy. If you logged in under an individual branch, or you don't belong
to a hierarchy of customers, you will be able to view all of the open orders for your individual
location. To see the specific items, quantities and dates on a particular order, click on the
Sales Order or Quote number. This will take you to the Open Order Detail page. You can export
both of these lists to Excel by clicking the Download to Excel link.
If you are at a headquarters location you can search for a particular branch by clicking the "Change"
link in the top navigational toolbar. After selecting this, you will be taken to the "Select Customer Number"
screen. You may select the particular branch from the displayed list or use the Advanced Search options on
the left. Here you will see several searchable fields. In each of them you can type the entire set of
words or numbers that you are looking for. For example, in the ZIP field you can type the 5 digit zip
code of the branch you are looking for; or in the Customer Name field, you can type the entire name of
the branch that you are looking for. But if you only know the first few letters or the first few numbers
you can type those in and hit the asterisk (shift + 8 on your keyboard). The asterisk (*) is a wildcard,
and it will find all branches that have the first few characters or numbers you typed. When you hit [go]
you will get a list of all the branches that match the criteria you typed with the main hierarchy account
displayed at the top of the listing.
